Updates about tier on Patreon

Ok, some people, on F95 especially, are frustrated because I moved all the premium content from my mods to Patreon.

I had no choice but to do this. I consider that I put a lot of time on my mods and on the Remake project, and I add a lot of content every month on the Remake and am almost always available to fix your bugs found on my mods, even the ones in the game.

So by moving my works on Patreon, I kind of limit the redistribution and get some monetary support for the time spent improving the game, my mods or the Remake.

Next month or early April, 6 new plans will be offered on Patreon for you to download premium content from my mods and/or the Remake.

I will still offer free content but it will be limited unfortunately.

I’ve been on the web as a webmaster for at least 20 years, I’ve made a lot of plugins, extensions for websites (Freeglobe, phpbb, WordPress, Joomla,…) and mods for games (Pharaon, civilisationII, Medieval Engineer,…,), and the rule (not mine) has always been not to copy other modders until they become totally inactive or give their consent.

Why this rule, basically:

  • To force people to contribute with the creator.
  • To respect the creator.
  • To make the creation evolve.
  •  To avoid confusion.
  • To avoid conflicts between creators.
  • A question of copyright.

Also, for future patrons who are willing to disclose my work on other platforms, read this:

So basically, if you share my work without my permission, you will be banned and not refunded.
