First of all, in this new year 2023, I wish you love, happiness and many good opportunities.
I decided to make a post about the mod manager LifePlay Mods Flix only, because I made several changes and brought many new features to the application.
Here’s what I did during the rainy days of my Christmas vacation:
- I did some bugfixes.
- Now if a mod have been created by 2 creators, if you click their names, the listing of available mods will be changed to display only the mods created by them.
- Now if you click one of the installed mods, an info will be displayed below the box of installed mods, telling you if the mod can be uninstalled or disabled.
- Some mods no more needs to be installed manually
- Possibility to install/update/delete the Remake
- Possibility to install/update some files from the Remake. *Files are: names_F.txt and names_M.txt
- You can’t install mods tagged [Remake Only] if the Remake is not installed
- Added a way to make a backup of the Vanilla version folders linked to the Remake, when installing the Remake.
- When you uninstall the Remake, the Vanilla version will be reinstalled by default, if a backup exist.
- All mod starting with vin_ cannot be deleted when the Remake is installed, for preventing bugs.
- Changed obsolete method Webclient for httpClient
Added some buttons to the menu:
The Main menu button
- Force XML reload – For forcing a refresh of the repo
- Close LP Mod Flix – To close the application.
The List Editor menu Button
- Edit/Open a file – To open a file with your default editor
The Tools menu button
- Create empty lpaction file
- Create empty lpaddon file
- Create empty lpmod file
- Create empty lpquest file
- Create empty lpstat file
- Backup AppData saves – To create a backup of the local SaveGames folder
- Backup InGame saves – To create a backup of the LifePlay Saves folder
The Help menu button
- F.A.Q LifePlay Mods Flix
- lP Documentation
- How to add your mod
- Changed F.A.Q for F.A.Q LifePlay
- Replaced some item menu
